This article is a contribution of thought for the church to be actively involved in real theological efforts in the context of a society that is constantly changing. The context referred to in this article is the political situation that is currently at a tendency point because it is considered that there are policies that sacrifice society. Of course, this awareness was born as a form of rejection of the master's morality that has the potential to prioritize the power of personal ego to achieve personal gain. Therefore, the church must be present and involved in showing its prophetic voice. One way offered in this church's task is to propose the concept of "Becoming a Church for Others" as a direction for the church to determine its ministry position. In order to complete this article, the author uses a literature study method that is relevant to the topic discussed. Ultimately, through this article, the author has great hope that the church can become a counterforce to a tyrannical state.
